Wheels, Wings, and Warbirds

A hometown celebration of everything with an engine.

Saturday, March 6, 2027 · 10 AM to 2 PM · Walk in free

Bring a machine or come look at one. One Saturday on the museum grass.

Wheels, Wings, and Warbirds is a free day at Texas Air Museum on Slaton Municipal Airport (F49) for anyone who loves machines. Pilots fly in. Neighbors drive in their cars and trucks and ride in on their bikes. The museum's warbirds are already out on the grass.

Walk the grass and talk to whoever brought it. It is not an airshow. Everything is parked, so take your time.
